Description This took a while, had to fix some things a lot during sketching, mainly conserning the "anatomy" of the changes. This draw started out with a sketch of 3. with 1. 2. and 4. coming after, 5. was an added sketch from another thing. so, about this mini-sequence-whatever; 1. Triggered by a monster appearing, it starts out as just an uncontrollable spasm as the nucleus in the hand attempts to initiate the transformation in order to go kill the monster, of course, since Joe has control over the rest of his body, this becomes an one sided wrestle for time as seen here (though the transformation can't fully start, the hand can still turn into an unstable mess, or mutation, till requisites are met). 2. The nucleus manages to get itself onto his face and quickly starts semi-merging with it (much in the fashion of a face hugger here, but situations may vary) while the hand is still in the process of mutating and slowly spreading farther. Joe would be in full panic mode during this till; 3. The merge between hand and face slowly lets up and becomes easy to remove, leaving a semi-hardened mask on the face (may consist of one complete blob or as seen here, multiple plates) and securing a sort of central command for the transformation. 4. Much quicker and moves more streamlinedly, the transformation begins fully and doesn't take even a fraction of the time it did to get to this point, Joe's conciousness varying greatly during as the nucleus suppresses the unfavorable parts for it's purposes. The cape/wings cover his body quickly, sometimes being the first to appear in all of this. 5. Finally, fully transformed and ready to go, with all the bits of flesh and possible spurts of fluid quickly dissapearing into the earth without a trace. * Also, if you will, concider into the details that the parts that are amidst transforming are, well, like putting your hand in a boiler (one of those french fry machines, maybe?). While transformed, his body is very flexible on shape and size; instead of having a human-shape to it he could have the lower torso of a centipede, or have whips for arms, or be somekind of godzilla-like thing. It all depends on the situation. his cape of wings is probably his most freely changing parts though, as it has no default form to revert to. Joe Dan Lovejoy @ ... Yup, that's done.
